Truax completes deployment of Gilbarco Secure Zone Router and Acumera managed network security to prepare for outdoor EMV and improve store uptime

Truax Corporation announces it has completed the deployment of the Gilbarco Secure Zone Router along with Acumera perimeter network security services. This deployment supports Truax’s plans for outdoor EMV and reduces operating costs by providing real-time visibility of all store systems.

AUSTIN, TEXAS, September 24, 2019 — “Truax Corporation has been a Gilbarco customer for many years. When we learned that Acumera partnered with Gilbarco, we began looking into the product,” said Matt Truax, Truax Corporation Vice President. “Acumera checked a lot of our boxes as we moved from an internally managed network to a PCI compliant network ready for outdoor EMV. We operate multiple gas brands. Acumera can provide network visibility and management for all of our store systems and gas brand mandated payment gateways with one device.”

“Acumera is Gilbarco’s partner for the Secure Zone Router to enable PCI compliant, high-speed remote support for our Passport POS, and also provides our perimeter network security services. Acumera’s intuitive dashboard and support improve store uptime and profits and reduces operating costs and tech visits. Their dashboard helps us do more remote support of our store systems.”

“Truax is a PDI and Intellifuel customer, and Acumera is PDI’s preferred network services partner. Acumera secures PDI accounting data flows and reliably and securely streams ATG data to PDI Intellifuel to support our fuel logistics. While we work towards fully optimizing the product, we have been pleased with Acumera’s new site onboarding experience and very happy with the excellent customer service by Acumera,” said Truax.

“Truax is using managed network services to improve its customer brand experience,” said Dan Gleeson, Acumera’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Customers like Truax are working to simplify their network architecture and use the network as a technology platform for driving sales growth and reducing operating costs. We are excited to support Truax stores and staff with Acumera’s managed network security services.”
